Once I say the slogan “Once you pop, you can’t stop” you know I am talking about the number 1 brand of snack chips in the world, universally called “Pringles.” They are sold in a rather impressive 140 countries, but as each countries tastes differ you end up with some rather odd sounding flavours…
Top 10 Strange and Unusual Flavours of Pringles
..
10 – Nightclub
How many of you have licked the floor of a nightclub and thought it tasted of black pepper and cheddar cheese? Well the marketing department of Pringles have, and in turn made the same flavour.
9 – Cheeseburger
Out of all the flavours you are about to see and read about I think this one is the one I would love to try first. I love a good cheeseburger so I should like these in theory.
8 – Pecan Pie
Having never tried Pecan pie before I wouldn’t know how close these are to the original flavour, but I might be pushed into giving these a go.
7 – Blueberry & Hazelnut
Part of the rather odd fruit and nut range these do not sound good at all. But yet I take it someone must be eating them because you can still buy them today!
6 – Milk Chocolate
The important thing to note here is that these are not tasty sounding chocolate covered pringles, these are artificially made to taste like chocolate! Not good at all.
5 – Original
Back in the late 80’s early 90’s when they first started, Pringles were not very imaginative with their flavours. So corn flavour corn snacks it was! Humble beginnings indeed.
4 – Parmesan & Oli
While it does sound a little odd, it also sounds like a rather soft sounding flavour as well. I think it would be very close to the common Cheese and Onion.
3 – Guacamole
Guacamole is basically a avocado-based dip. So if you like your Pringles fruity and you dip Pringley this might be the flavour for you.
2 – Peppermint White Chocolate
Part of the 2012 seasonal flavours batch these Pringles are still being sold and are often seen as a Christmas/holiday themed snack. They do a full taste test review of them in the image link, but will they like them? You will have to click it to find out.
1 – Seaweed
To some of us this will sound like the worlds most disgusting flavour of Pringles you will ever read about, but to the people of Japan Seaweed is a common flavour. I guess it is not so much about weird flavours, but more a matter of where you come from.
What is your favourite flavour?
