Top 10 Cats Wearing Christmas Jumpers

Top 10 Cats Wearing Christmas Jumpers Top 10 Cats Wearing Christmas Jumpers

It is that time of year when some of us are forced to wear some of the most horrible looking festive sweaters you will ever see. But why should cats lay about and get away-without wear one? Well it seems they don’t and some of them are certainly not impressed at all…

10 – Not making a scene

At least this kitties jumper is not over the top with Christmas themed things. In fact I know many a golfer who would happily wear this on a normal winters day!

9 – Frosty Reception

With some skinny looking Christmas trees and a snowman this is a true Christmas only jumper. You know the one, that same Jumper that your boss wears and makes him look like a even more incompetent fool.

8 – Not a Jingle in sight.

This kitty has the same look as I first did when I was given a Christmas jumper to wear. That look that says “If you say one thing about it, your dead!” Maybe he wanted a cat-nip toy instead of this.

7 – Winter Wonder

With a festive scene going on in the background this cat is blending in rather nicely.  Well as much blending as a jumper with “Ho, ho ho” stitched on it will allow anyway.

6 – Pretty in White

Just because you are forced to wear a Christmas jumper doesn’t mean it will make for a ugly picture as this rather beautiful image shows. That Reindeer jumper is just the best!

5 – Let me take a Selfie!

This cat doesn’t just look really uncomfortable in its jumper, it also looks like its taken its own selfie! Lets face it, there are loads if cats with Instagram pages anyway so is this so hard to believe that the cat took it its self?

4 – Fully Festive

With a tinsel neck hole and bottom hem this is a true over the top festive jumper. But maybe that is a good thing because it might take the focus of this being a hair-less cat.

3 – Happy at Christmas

Some cats seem to be rather annoyed at having to wear a Christmas jumper, but not this proud looking kitty. He is stood tall and proud with his ho, ho, ho jumper. His mum made this and therefore it is perfect. (If only we could all think the same way)

2 – Scary

Never before had I thought that a Reindeer jumper might end up giving me nightmares. But that all changed the moment I saw this kitty wearing one. He is not a happy puss at all.

1 – Not a care was given

I am 99 percent sure that this image is fake,  but I just don’t care because while it may be a Photoshop edit it is still one of the funniest images of a cat wearing a Christmas jumper you are ever going to see. This is the face that will be copied by many of us humans over this coming Christmas holiday.

Top 10 Best Recipes for Christmas Trees Christmas tree brownies recipe

8 – Brownies

Now these do look festive. Not much more to them than the basic brownie recipes they look amazing and depending on the ability of the brownie maker probably taste amazing as well. Hold onto those rice crackers at the bottom of the tree because I’m gonna try and destroy Christmas in one bite!

Top 10 Best Recipes for Christmas Trees Cheesy Christmas Tree

With a nice sized triangle of Philadelphia cream cheese, chopped red peppers and a nice tray of Ritz Crackers these are sure to go down a absolute storm. If there is anything that says its Christmas time is is a cheese selection.

Top 10 Best Recipes for Christmas Trees Christmas Tree Savory Rolls Recipe

This savory style recipe is probably too much like my number 1 to be included, but I just loved the look of it too much not to. It seems I am a sucker for little red and green pepper stars and Philadelphia cream cheese tinsel.

You all knew that a cupcake recipe was going to make this list, so here it is. Here are loads of variations, styles and ingredients to choose form, but I like this one because of the winter style to it and the great making guide video.

Top 10 Best Recipes for Christmas Trees Christmas Tree Pull-Apart

1 – Pull Apart

Anyone who has ever read anything in this blog will already know that I love the more unusual things in life. So for that very reason I have decided to make this un-festive, un-seasonal pull apart treat my number 1. Christmas doesn’t have to be all about the sweets and desserts of this world. It can be about more traditional foods as well.

Top 10 Rather Sad Looking Christmas Trees

Top 10 Rather Sad Looking Christmas Trees Top 10 Rather Sad Looking Christmas Trees

Maybe it is because these people are poor, or maybe they didn’t want to put up a Christmas tree so put up a rubbish one instead. These are the Christmas trees little kids have nightmares about, and the rest of us feel sorry for their owners. So let’s try and at least crack a smile or two as we look at…

10 – The Chuck On

I would say these Christmas tree decorations were put on by blind man,  but I have a funny feeling that a blind man would have done a much better job.  This is the classic chucked on / Bah Humbug effect in full force.

Top 10 Rather Sad Looking Christmas Trees Pathetic Looking Christmas Tree

9 – Pick Me!

If I told my little boy to go and pick real Christmas tree out from all of them at the market this is probably what he would come back with.  He is such a sucker for a hard luck case and it seems so is the owner of this festive sadness.

Top 10 Rather Sad Looking Christmas Trees Pathetic Looking Christmas Tree

8 – Design Skill Zero

I’m not saying that when me and my little boy put the decorations on the Christmas tree that it is a work of art and should belong in a galley,  but I sure as heck know we could do a lot better job than the monkeys who decorated this!

Top 10 Rather Sad Looking Christmas Trees Pathetic Looking Christmas Tree

7 – Award Winning

The Christmas Tree on the left was voted the worst Christmas tree in the UK and was put up by Herne Bay’s council. So they got in a mood and replaced it, with the one on the right! Talk about going from bad to worse.

Top 10 Rather Sad Looking Christmas Trees Pathetic Looking Christmas Tree

6 – Same Old Story

Much like out previous Christmas tree the one on the left was put up by Hyde Council with a total of 4 decorations, but after the Facebook page ‘The Embarrassment of Mottram Christmas Tree’ was put up local people came out to decorate it to the point we see in the right image. Bless them, it was a good effort indeed, but shame on the council for putting it up in the first place.

Top 10 Rather Sad Looking Christmas Trees Pathetic Looking Christmas Tree

5 – Printable

I’m sure one day in the not too distant future you really will be able to print out your very own 3D Christmas tree.  That day has not come yet but it doesn’t seem to have stopped this person who I am sure wanted a real one but had to settle for a print out of one instead.

Top 10 Rather Sad Looking Christmas Trees Pathetic Looking Christmas Tree

4 – Bare Facts

Here is the fact that one year I sadly learnt the hard way.  If you buy a real Christmas tree you need to look after i give it water take care of it which sadly I didn’t. There was pine needles everywhere! In fact there was so many I was still picking them up the next year! So make sure that tree gets some water otherwise this will happen to you.

Top 10 Rather Sad Looking Christmas Trees Pathetic Looking Christmas Tree

3 – Straight Up

This is confusing me. Is it a pole with some tinsel wrapped around it, or a unfolded Christmas tree? Whatever it is it makes for a rather sad looking Christmas tree. Not much point hiding the presents under this one! If you click on the image you will soon discover that things turn out alright for it in the end.

Top 10 Rather Sad Looking Christmas Trees Pathetic Looking Christmas Tree

2 – Little League

You know you are in trouble when your Christmas tree can only handle one bauble. In fact it is making me a little depressed just looking at it! Or maybe it is in the home of a minimalist.

Top 10 Rather Sad Looking Christmas Trees Pathetic Looking Christmas Tree

1 – Wrap Fresh

I’m not gonna lie, if I was told my Christmas present was underneath the Christmas tree I would be expecting a little bit more than a Christmas tree car freshener.  My only hope is that this is some kind of a prank rather than the only thing this person can afford.  Going by the presents on the floor the former seems to be the case.

Top 10 Pictures of Dogs in Reindeer Costumes

Top 10 Pictures of Dogs in Reindeer Costumes Top 10 Pictures of Dogs in Reindeer Costumes

Because cats are a little more refined than dogs it is sadly often left to our canine friends to play dress-up at Christmas time. So with lets give out a little sympathy as we see some poor dogs who have owners that just wanted a Reindeer for Christmas…

Top 10 Pictures of Dogs in Reindeer Costumes

..

Top 10 Pictures of Dogs in Reindeer Costumes Dogs in Reindeer Costumes

10 – Hipsters

We start this list with an image that is quite frankly a little scary.  These two dogs look like they’ve been turned into giraffes rather than reindeer’s!  But I suppose that is what you get when you knit your own pets reindeer costume.

Top 10 Pictures of Dogs in Reindeer Costumes Dog in Reindeer Costume

9 – Don’t look now Fido, it’s behind you!!

Poor pooch looks like he’s being eaten by this rather unfortunate Reindeer costume, Maybe next year they might end his torment, and leave him alone, but judging by this seasons efforts the poor little mite is going to end up in an elf costume or far, far worse

Top 10 Pictures of Dogs in Reindeer Costumes Dog in Reindeer Costume

8 – If Lady GaGA had a Reindeer dog…….

He might be surrounded by gifts, and Christmas cheer, but this poor pup looks like he could do without all the festive razzamatazz. Talking of razz, what is up with that red nose, please say that is photo shopped, maybe he would be happier if he didn’t have antlers that look like lobster claws!

Top 10 Pictures of Dogs in Reindeer Costumes Dog in Reindeer Costume

7 – REINDEER, REINDEER, I auditioned for the Lion King, get my agent!

It was always going to cause problems when your jumper is too small, and your antlers are too big,  seriously these would look better on a Great Dane than this little fellow, It’s not the antlers that are causing the eye disturbance in this photo, it’s that offensive too small festive jumper, dress him up by all means, but make sure it fits the poor mite

Top 10 Pictures of Dogs in Reindeer Costumes Dog in Reindeer Costume

6 – Antler Attitude

If this dog could talk I am sure he would tell people to take his choice of winter ware seriously! But whatever he is thinking or indeed wants to say his image is priceless in only for his blank look.

Top 10 Pictures of Dogs in Reindeer Costumes Dog in Reindeer Costume

5 – Cross Breeds

I can’t be the only person seeing this image who can’t work out where the dog begins and the costume ends! Being super fluffy I guess means you can blend in with things including head gear.

Top 10 Pictures of Dogs in Reindeer Costumes Dog in Reindeer Costume

4 – Bare

Not only doesn’t this dog get a festive background but he doesn’t get a proper set of reindeer antlers! From the looks of it he only gets twigs and some string to hold it on with. Hard times it seems even in the dog costume department.

Top 10 Pictures of Dogs in Reindeer Costumes Dog in Reindeer Costume

3 – Snow Bound

The reindeer costume is not great in this image,  and the dog does not all that happy to be wearing it.  But I still think this is one of the most beautiful images of a reindeer dog you are ever gonna see. The snow, the costume, the dog it makes for a wonderful scene.

Top 10 Pictures of Dogs in Reindeer Costumes Dogs in Reindeer Costumes

2 – Look-a-likes

Is it just me or do these two dogs really look like 2 little reindeer’s?  Maybe it is the breed of dog they are all the quality of the costume I really can’t decide.   No matter what way I look at it it’s creepy, end of.

Top 10 Pictures of Dogs in Reindeer Costumes Dog in Reindeer Costume

1 – Shock

For sheer funny value only this image gets my vote as number 1. Never before or probably again will you see such a strange reaction to having Reindeer antlers put on a dogs head, the poor thing looks truly disgusted at it. Maybe he wanted a Santa hat instead.

For those of use who have a few festive sets of string lights on our Christmas tree it can cost just pennies to keep that tree light and looking amazing. Top 10 Unusual Ways to Power a Christmas Tree Christmas Tree Powered by Pedal Power

10 – Pedal to Bethlehem

Lets get one of the most obvious ways out the way. There are loads of pedal powered Christmas trees but this one located in Royal Festival Hall on Londons South Bank is open for anyone to have a go. Just jump on, get pedalling and feel instantly festive!

Top 10 Unusual Ways to Power a Christmas Tree Christmas Tree Powered by Solar Power

9 – Sun Light Bright

There are loads of Christmas trees powered by solar power, but this one located just outside Macy’s contains no less than 30,000 LED solar-powered bulbs making it the biggest solar powered Christmas tree in the world, and it looks rather beautiful for doing it as well.

Top 10 Unusual Ways to Power a Christmas Tree Christmas Tree Powered by Social Media

8 – Social Understanding

OK, this is a bit of a cheat as it is powered by electricity. But it doesn’t light up into a certain tweets is sent making it a truly interactive, social media powered Christmas tree, that just so happens to be needed to be plugged in.

Top 10 Unusual Ways to Power a Christmas Tree Christmas Tree Powered by Batteries

7 – All Alone

While powering a Christmas tree with batteries is nothing surprising, it does mean it can be placed anywhere including in the middle of a lake! That is the good thing about battery powered Christmas trees I suppose.

Top 10 Unusual Ways to Power a Christmas Tree Christmas Tree Powered by Water

6 – Festive Splash

This one even confuses me. You see it is water powered, but not by the power of water like a turbine or watermill, this really is water powered! There is a full explanation in the image link, but I couldn’t understand it, but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t impressed.

CTop 10 Unusual Ways to Power a Christmas Tree Christmas Tree Powered by Wind

5 – Blow the Christmas Tree

there will be a lot of people who claim to be able to power a Christmas tree with their wind, but this is a real wind powered one. Located in San Borja in Lima, Peru it is the perfect example of nature and science working together.

Top 10 Unusual Ways to Power a Christmas Tree Christmas Tree Powered by Kissing

4 – Under the Mistletoe

OK, so it might not really be powered by kisses much like number 8, but the promise behind it is when someone gets a kiss under the mistletoe it will light up one of the 50,000 red and white LEDs. Someone is going to get sour lips by the time Christmas gets here.

Top 10 Unusual Ways to Power a Christmas Tree Christmas Tree Powered by Dancing

3 – Busting Shapes

Bad dancing and Christmas go hand in hand, so what Nokia decided to do is use those awkward shapes everyone seems to throw at the seasonal dance and make a human powered Christmas tree! Did they succeed? Well you will have to click the image to find out.

Top 10 Unusual Ways to Power a Christmas Tree Christmas Tree Powered by Electric eel

2 – The Festive Eel

This is definitely right up there on the more unusual end of the power spectrum. Located at the Aqua Toto Gifu aquarium in Kakamigahara a rather angry eel generates over 800 watts of power just by swimming around! That is enough to cause a grown man to black out almost instantly.

Top 10 Unusual Ways to Power a Christmas Tree Christmas Tree Powered by Brussel Sprouts

1 – Festive Connections

I am sure that there are many family members out there that could power those string lights by gas after eating too many Brussel Sprouts, so I did enjoy the festive connection of using them to power the Christmas tree. OK, it takes over a thousand sprouts to power it, but it is still impressive none the less. Here’s to Sprout Power!
